CHOCOLATEFORLUNCH pressed the pace and vied into the turn, backed off slightly, the pressed again from between foes turning for home, led with a furlong to go and proved best in the drive to the wire. SNOW RITE had inside speed to duel for the lead, held a slim lead on the turn, was challenged again by the winner and gave way to that one while running on to save the place. ROSIE REGENT stalked the leaders and then bid 3-wide turning for home, could not get to the top two in the final furlong while finishing off a good try. AFRICAN RAINBOW trailed the field before making a belated outside run at the three top finishers but arrived too late while going well. SELECTIVE SHOPPER stalked outside in the early going then lost ground to the leaders and had no stretch rally. WALTZING TIME was off slowly and was never a threat.
