GALLANT had speed to press for the early lead, gained it as inside rival backed off out of the clubhouse turn, took on same foe with that one now outside into the far turn, went head and head into the stretch, dueled to the wire and nipped rival in a very tight photo. MILWAUKEE APPEAL pressed inside in the early going, backed off out of the clubhouse turn, angled out and took up the challenge again, dueled into and through the turn, battled to the wire with inside foe and missed by a hair. EYE OF THE LEOPARD never far back, tracked the leaders and was in the three path with a shot a those two leaders turning for home, came at them while outside in the final yards but could not reach in time. KEINO WEST was off slowly and trailed the field, gained some ground on the far turn and was off the rail into the stretch but could not close on the top three. MR. FORICOS TWO U tracked the leaders while inside, kept in the hunt turning for home then had nothing left to give in the final furlong. FLIP FOR THE COIN on the outside of foes and just off the pace for six furlongs, backed off on the far turn and faded.
