Basset Hound Races

They're Back! Sunday, August 18

Basset Hound races are coming back to Fort Erie Race Track on Sunday, August 18 for the floppiest races at the track. Beginning after horse racing ends, this friendly non-wagering event is fun for the whole family! Spectator attendance is free. 

Horse racing begins at 1 p.m. and the dogs will hit the track after the final race. Basset Hound races likely to begin around 4. Fans can enjoy live music and food trucks, and shop the vendor market between races.

WE LOVE ALL DOGS, BUT ONLY DOGS TAKING PART IN THE EVENT AND SERVICE DOGS ARE PERMITTED AT FORT ERIE RACE TRACK.

Fort Erie Race Track is a family-friendly venue, and all ages are welcome to attend. This is a non-wagering event.
